Weird Wipers

About two weeks ago I took out a deer with my daily 63. Poor SOB didn't have a chance. That 55 year old steel knocked his **** right onto my headlight bucket! Few wrinkles and misaligned panels but for the most part if you do not know what you are looking at the truck looks ok.

Here is the biggest issue however - my wipers came on at impact and I can't shut them off without pulling the fuse. Anyone have an idea what may have happened?

I do not use it much in the rain but if I am out and about it sux. RainX is useless on knee knockers. About as much aerodynamics as a brick.

As always any info is greatly appreciated.

Re: Weird Wipers

Check the wiper switch first to see if disconnecting some of the ground leads turns off the wiper when the ignition is on. If not, the wiper motor is probably grounding near the mount at the firewall since there is constant power to the wiper motor.
