Ridler 695 on 72 C10 questions

Has anyone used these rims on a 71-72 and have any fitment issues or anything? I want to buy these rims but I noticed the snout on the rotor hub looks extremely big and I’m not sure it will fit. Hoping one of you guys didn’t have any issues to make my decision a lot easier.

You mean the Disc brake rotor on the front? You have any pics? I have 695's on my 1969 with Disc brakes. Ridler 695 20x8.5J ZCW Front Tire is a 245/45R20 4.5" Back Space.

What are you looking at on yours?

Re: Ridler 695 on 72 C10 questions

I have 695’s on mine with C4 Vette brakes front and rear. When you say “Snout” do you mean the rotor center bore? Here’s a close up picture of my rotor and how big the centerbore is, and one of how much it clears my brakes.

I believe 72’s are 12” rotors, mine are 13” rotor and caliper clearance isn’t an issue

Are you using yours on stock rotors?

Here are the stock rotors. Where the dust cap and bearings go is what I meant to say. They seem too big but I’m not sure

Yeah the front disc rotor. I feel like it’s too big and the wheel won’t fit. I circled what I am talking about.

I’m using stock rotors. What you have pictured looks like it’s extended

That’s what I was thinking it looks way too big. I got mine from my local auto parts store. Is your rotor thickness 1 1/4?

I haven’t ever measured, but what you have pictured doesn’t look normal at all. I’m trying to figure out why it even has studs in it?

I thought it has studs cause they don’t have wheel hub’s separate from the rotor. Where did you get your rotors from? I’m returning these

My center section sticks out quite a ways and my wheels cover no problem, that being said my studs are through the rotor, not part of the rotor.

Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on here lol. Is your rotor from a 71-72?

Yes they fit fine, no problem. I am not sure what year the rotors are, they were on the truck when I bought it, maybe someone can pitch in and help us out. The truck is a 69 C10.

I have a 69 C10 as well and it came with drums. I swapped out a front crossmember and everything from a 72 C10.
