Any one able to tell me what rear end this thing has. Showed pictures to some technicians at my work. Neither could recall seeing one in a long time.

Re: 1967 C20 Farm Truck

Nice looking old farm truck... What are the plans for it??

Looks like an HO52 to me as well... Made by Eaton. Real popular in almost all Chevy 3/4 ton and 1 tons up till the mid 70's I think. Anyways, they only have three different ratios that came standard from the factory: 4.11, 4.56, and 5.13. I have a C-30 with an HO72 (basically the same thing) that had 5.13's originally... Pretty annoying trying to go down the road by todays standards. Swapped it to a 4.11 and it was a pretty big improvement. Still geared low compared to nowadays, but still pretty comfortable around 50-60 mph.

Re: 1967 C20 Farm Truck

Well it has a 327 V8 out of a Hay Combine. 3 speed stick on floor. Plans are a 2/4 drop. Keep it on steel rims. It has no ac and the heater has been bypassed for a long time. It was my wife grandfathers he bought it new. So have to keep it kinda stock. Next task is to load it on trailer and move it to my house.
