Re: The reason I have to give up my truck.

the front cowl, after some sanding, then sand blasting, and finally wire wheel... took a long time just on this piece, but she's clean now!

Notice the d.a. on the roof? yeah, I spent one entire f*in day d.a.ing the roof. 50 year old factory paint doesn't like to be removed. I think I went through a total of 23 80 grit pads on that roof.

Yes, that is a four door panel, and yes, I am trying to do this without blowing my entire budget on metal. My uncle happened to have this laying in his 'dream yard' as he calls it. I am going to do some trading for the rest of the quarter next time I go down there.

Re: The reason I have to give up my truck.

how to tell when you have spent way too much time working on your car. and yes, this is real. My sneaky uncle somehow figured out how to use my blackberry and took these right before waking me up via a big bucket of water. Family...

Decided to wash and wax up the 'daily driver'. It was only that on this trip, but she definitely needed it!

Wink Re: The reason I have to give up my truck.

That's all the pictures for now, but I did accomplish a lot of other things this week, just no pictures yet. I picked up a set of buckets out of an Intrepid, need to find two more because I'm going to make the car a '2+2' setup with a sweet center console!
Also snagged my motor and trans, but I think I'll let everyone wonder what that could be! Keep in mind the stuff I have already done, and realize that is will be very different than what you are expecting!
