the new 22r 2.4l that is goin int he truck. to replace the 20r that someone swaped in (orginal motor was a 22r)

the extra wire we pulled out that wasn;t need as well as the whole wiring harness and we but the doors front eh donor cab on it

staring the brake repairs man pressing the hubs and rotors apart was a pain and no i dont drink

got the motor and the wiring harness out of the donor truck in which was perfect got it running and we started the body work on it.
i'm not going to mention that it took us 2 weeks to get the charging system worked out 4 different alternators and volt regs. found out that there was 2 different styles of alternators for this truck so off to the parts store for the other style. Installed and wow its amazing charging 14.6 volts

the truck is done now but i dont have anymore pictures right now

Cool, looks like you've got lots of help (always nice) I miss my old straight axle Toy's had a couple. Great off roaders.

its a friends and he was going to sell it after he lost his help swaping the axles and i jumped in and saved it

A buddy of mine has an '81...he swapped in an entire '95 dash. It looks fantastic and definitely makes one of the 79-83 trucks unique. It was almost a direct bolt in.
