Depin reverse light socket

Hi all,

My reverse light socket is falling apart frrom the outside. The connectors are still good. I hate hacking wiring. is there a way to depin the old connector and replace it with the new housing?

TIA!

Re: Depin reverse light socket

Figured it out.

The ground can be depinned by putting a screwdriver from the insulated side and depressing the tab. the positive center requires a shim from the bulb side. there are 2 tabs but only 1 is attached. wiggling it will show where it is locked.
