Not a lot got done on Friday being I got a later start than originally planned for.
Lots of BS'n about trucks and a good steak, ribs & beer dinner though.

One days work:
*Had a bare frame, had the axles, had the blazer tub on a 67 panel truck frame.
*Mounted axles under frame, rolled out of garage.
*Pulled tub off of panel frame and rolled that frame out of the way.
*Had to lift the blazer tub enough to clear 42"s, so the frame would roll under it.
*Installed the front clip.
*Left for home around 6:30p.m.

The spring's I already had and decide to use for the purpose of making it a roller, so if it looks like it sits a little 'off', it does.
Their 2.5" lift springs with a shackle flip in the rear but hey it's what we had, so it's what we used.

Lost almost 2hrs waiting around for the rain to lighten up too...

It's a damn nice tub, could almost build it and drive it as is.

Pics aren't that great, it was pouring most of the afternoon.

I like that setup....

I know you have a few projects but here's a blazer near my house for sale... Guy was looking for around $900, I would love to build a trail rig but i'm knee deep in mine and no place to house another toy.

Your gonna wanna keep this after your done, lol...... Looking great! I wasn't sure about the Hummer wheels but they look pretty good.

This one is a keeper, building it for ME, MYSELF and I.

Acquiring this one now also allows for the flip blazer to happen too.

I know what you mean, I was hoping they'd look good but wasn't positive I'd like em...I really do though.

I love the orange too. (always wanted one this color)

The blazer will end up looking very close to the way it sits right now, orange with a white top and I'm leaving the alloy wheels without any center caps, cause I'm diggin' the rugged look it gives, seeing the hubs.

With the H2's, the front tires are inside of the fenders, which in my state will getcha a ticket if their not. (bonus)

Still searching for one more H2 wheel for the spare if anybody comes across one...

Decent H2 wheels can be had all day long for $100.00 on e-bay, $75.00 even if you catch it right.

That thing looks great already, couple guys in NJ parting out blazers...JC, 6t727t2, ScottH.. That one Mike is talking about has a good goodwrench motor in it, I forget if you have a motor or not

OOOOOk I thought this was the one you were flippin'. Now I see why your going the extra mile.... Cage and all... I bet it will ride real nice with those tires and springs. You should get a set of those nice metal finished Bilstein shocks for it..... They look cool. Not sure how they ride though.

Body will come back off, the P/O stripped it bare metal and it has since flashed over.

Not a restoration , not even close.
It will be over built, not stock, just a classic 1st gen body...from there it's all fair game.

Some sort of frame paint, Eastwood's, Rust Bullet, POR...etc.
Will be applied via spray gun after blasting.

So this a.m. while the comp is warming up, I look over my desktop background (O'Yeah, it's there) and I start adding up whats sitting there right now dollar wise...dayum it adds up fast.

Talk to mgross about a frame coating.There`s a great product out of NJ.What trans will you use?Do you have that,yet?My shortbed will be along the same lines.Maybe they can cruise together sometime.Prolly won`t have mine done until after about four more of your projects are done.

700r and a 241 T-case. (forgot those in my original post didn't I?)

The only parts left to aquire are the seats and cage tubing.

Then it's finding the time to assemble it all.
