location of dual fuel tanks

I was just wondering where the location of the 2nd tanks are located on the suburbans, either stock or custom. The second tank in my Sub is under the rear seat. the seat is actually bolted to it.

So what are the stock and aftermarket placements of these tanks?

Mine for years had another stock style tank next to the OEM location, so there were two tanks in the rear. The fuel fill pipe was modified as a Y type, so there was only one gas cap.

Later I took it out, since it was more of a PITA than it was worth.

hmmm, I dunno bout the others... But I'd be a little leary bout sittin on 50 somethin gallons of fuel while driving.

Interesting none the less.
