1969 Blazer top color
I'm sure a few people have noticed the 1969 Blazer on eBay? Its supposedly and appears to be 100% original. My question is, I noticed the inside of the top and hatch is painted body color (red), has anyone seen this before? Ive not seen many 69's in person I guess. every top I've ever seen is either all white or all black.
any and all thoughts on this would be great. |

There was an earlier thread on here about another Blazer with a body-color interior roof. The experts (who know a lot more than I do) determined it came from the factory that way.

It's a '69 only thing, top interior color same as body, as truckster said we have threads on this topic

In 69 they also painted body color on the exterior around the top of the door window glass on the hardtop to mimic the upper door frame that trucks have.
