It's a 8 in pad that goes on a buffer or sander you just have to be careful not to grind any body lines and don't get the metal hot 80 sand paper works good

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here's my junk I picked up a week ago.
72 C-10 suburban.
Just put the new tires/rims on it today.
Ridler 645's
18 x 8 front with 255/45/18
18 x 9.5 rear with 295/45/18

Previous owner I believe went with a 2/4 drop.
I'm going to install an ECE 4/6 soon.

I love the ride of my truck sitting on 22r/20f. 6" notched frame, I have plenty of travel for the horrible Los Angeles roads.

what was your tire size when you had the 15s? if you can recall. This ride height is perfect. the 5.5/5. I think that's what I will go with. but concerned my tire choice will have me too low to the ground for DD use.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

got a question for you static dropped guys. i have a fairly steep drive way at the entrance. any of you guys have issues dragging your bumpers front or rear. i am afraid going this low static may cause problems getting in and out of the drive way.

i know its all relative and useless without pics. just curious.

im considering a 4.5 front and 5.5 or 6 rear.

May have to go bags rear id the drive way is an issue.

thanks.

Awesome trucks. Anyone else have issues posting a thread from a phone? Subscribing to a thread from a phone? I can only do these things from my desk top.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here is my '69 GMC with 3"/5" drop, c-notch, and 20" Detroit steel wheels.

I can't seem to figure out how to rotate the image. I am not very tech-savvy I apologize.

What size of tires on the detroit steelies? I literally just got those same wheels I'm just waiting to find that perfect look of tire profile and width to go with my height.
