Long time gone

I posted for the first time about a year or more ago when I first found my obsession(1970 K10). I said then I would post progress on the restoration. So it’s been a rough road and things have not progressed as fast as I’d like but making money to support the build takes precedence. Below are a few milestones. I have a bunch more I’ll post in the next few days and try to be steady from here to the end. Any advice on stuff you see in the photo,s feel free.

Re: Long time gone

Thanks. Bored .060 with a stroker kit from engine kits .com. Heard they put a pretty good stroker kit together. We,ll see how it runs. Got an edelbrock manifold and carb, Hedman 2 1/2” headers, looking around for an exhaust, not too many out there for the 4wd. Long way to go.

Re: Long time gone

Not sure I can live with the yellow, I think I’m going with a 2 tone blue and white, white dog dish hubcaps, black interior.

Re: Long time gone

Still plugging along, finally figured out the e brake. In the end it was pretty simple just didn’t take enough pictures. I haven’t touched a drum brake in 30 years so it took a bit to figure out how they go back together. Again not enough pictures. Waiting on a new torque converter and the motors going in. Should be here on Tuesday. You guy,s see anything that looks funky let me know I really want this truck to be right. Yea I know there’s a big glob of grease on the front u joint.
