Defroster help

Okay I have a 72 C10 truck with AC.

I got it as someone else's unfinished product. I need to figure out which docks and doors I need to have open to defrost my windshield. I have new cables and control center on order. As well as some of the vacuum actuators cuz none of the vacuum is hooked up.

I did get the heater hose diverter thing working where hot water is coming in and out of the heater core.

The blower motor does not work, do I need to pull the fender for that or is it just inner fender well and wheel to replace the blower motor?

What door/vent do I need to wire tie open to have heat come through? Cables were not hooked up as they were all binding.

But need to drive it to get to work.

Thank
Larry

Re: Defroster help

If you haven't already I'd get one of these manuals. They'll show exactly where the cables go. You can often find helpful diagrams there as well as LMC trucks. https://www.classicparts.com/1972-Sh...ctinfo/04-030/

Re: Defroster help

Ironangel,Iron angel, everytime I place an order for parts, I forget about that. May try amazon

Not solo thanks. That one pic in the thread about the flapper under the hood side is probably the ticket.

To pull the blower motor, does fender, or just fender well need to come off?
