Re: 8 Lug 20 Inch Steelies

These look awesome! Is your truck currently lowered?

Wheels are 20X9 all the way around. 5 inch backspacing in front and 4 inch backspacing in rear. Tires are Continental 275/45R20. I chose Continental because of availability in the size I wanted and they’re asymmetrical, so I can rotate sides.

And, yes, the bed is not set straight. I’ll fix that soon.

Did your wheels mounted up? What size tires are you going with? Can't wait to see some pictures.
Thanks
Richard

Do you guys think a 20x11 will fit in back? My truck is still apart and can't measure. I am going with 2.5" drop spindles in front and 4" springs in rear.
Thanks
Richard

Maybe with like a 6 inch BS. Might be really tight though. I have 3.5 inch drop in front and 5.5 in back.

As well, please post pics when tires are mounted

Kevin,

To my knowledge, the front end is not lowered. I'm lowering the rear end this weekend. I'll post some before and afters.

Richard, my bed is off-center by about a 1/4 of an inch. I have 9 inch wide wheels with 4 inch backspacing. Personally, I wouldn’t go any wider on the outsider edges (5 inches, see my pics above). 10 inch wheels with 5 inch backspacing would be awesome. It will also help with this goofy drum.
