i built that thing back in 06 i believe, used to take it out every weekend for the first few years, then it becomes every other weekend then every month. i took it out once last year and been 2 years since it been out before then. it kind of falls into that catagory of i really dont know if its worth anything as its kinda a pos but always runs and always works.

anyways heres my mall cruiser which i really dont drive either lol. this one was meant to be the offroad truck but was too nice when i got done with it and didnt have the heart to destroy it 86 k30. was a old mississippi forestry truck

Awesome looking truck heavymech looks like it would be a blast to go cruise around in. Did you do all of the upgrades to it yourself? Some cool looking 4x4s in here I sure do miss my old square bodies that's for sure.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

My latest project. 1957 6400.
Found the truck in North Dakota. Took out the 261 and put in a EFI 454. Installed 80's Dana 60 and Dana 70 HD axles with 4
56 ratio. Put a sm465 transmission with a np205 transfercase. I'm using a hydroboost set-up with the brakes. Found some extra 22.5 rims to match the original ones on the front and put toyo 22.5 9R tires on it. My plan is to drive it a lot so I added an advanced adapters torque splitter in front of the transmission. I also found a vintage flatbed with a working hoist. Figure it will only be doing a little over 2100 rpm at 80 while driving through Montana. Should be a unique work horse.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

Yeah, that came together nicely. Never knew they made beauty rings that big. So, you used 8 to 6 adapters for the wheels?

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

Yeah I found the beauty rings through the Rickson company.
The adapters were made by Motorsport Tech in Sparks NV. The rear adapters are Chevy 10 lug to the 6 on 8 3/4 and the front are 8 to 6 lug. They were the only place I could find that could make them. Took a little while but they're impressive. Shipping weight was close to 130 pounds.
