1974 Escalade Rendering

So I have seen some of these floating around lately and thought Id come up with my own. I took a 74 Suburban ad and a 74 DeVille and meshed them together.

the grille is kind of out there, but could work or use a different style, but this is totally plausible.

Enjoy and I appreciate feedback as well as other renderings.

Re: 1974 Escalade Rendering

I see that could be very workable for a nice custom truck. To which I would lower it a bit, and add as wide as tires as possible. Then use Caddy hub caps. Plus a dark color would really bring it all home.

I kind of like it. I would like to see it in Black slammed.

Hidden wipers and headlight doors.

Suspension is fine, it is an SUV after all.

For extra added fun, Mary Kay pink.

I totally agree. The issue I was having was trying to keep it within reason of what they may have done back in 1974. Realistically it would have just been a different grille and maybe some more trim (I added a hood spear).

I may do a simpler one.

Re: 1974 Escalade Rendering

This is probably closer to what it would have looked like...

Re: 1974 Escalade Rendering

They would have done a hood ornament, not the grill emblem. Cover the seats in leather and replace some badging. Do the hub caps. Boom. Done. They should have done it.

Re: 1974 Escalade Rendering

What if we just whack it back to a four door sedan again?

Re: 1974 Escalade Rendering

Or possibly a quad 5-3/4" headlight conversion?

I thought about that but figured they wouldn't have done too much to the outside. It would have the leather and different wheel and maybe the Cadillac climate control?

You could add some small Caddy emblems to the tail lights too just for fun.
