Mystery springs from PO

When I bought the truck it had already been disassembled from the PO and most parts were labeled or self explanatory but I ran across these in a box and have no clue what they are or where they go if they even belong to the truck. I tried looking up the number on them but couldn't find anything either. They look to be a right and left pair and it's a 1972 C10
Thanks!

Hood hinge springs. Not sure when the change was but potentially 81 to 87

Re: Mystery springs from PO

Those are hood hinge springs I have about forty of them in my floor[I really need to clean my shop] in a pile by the paint booth. They appear to be 99-07 although the 88-98 trucks were similar and apparently so were other models. Jim
