Recognize this grille guard?

This came bolted to a 52 front end I bought, and I likely won't be using it. But I'd like to know what it fits if anyone has seen it before. I've google searched for hours and haven't come up with much. Not sure it was originally made for the Chevy trucks even. Any thought? Thanks!

Re: Recognize this grille guard?

That sure looks to be built the same. I'll see if I can find some more info on Hutchinson. Thanks.
I saw an ad for a chrome grille guard for $1.99, with deluxe models available up to $3.99! Seems like a deal now.

Re: Recognize this grille guard?

thats funny. the ad says "no holes to cut through the fenders". can you imagine, by todays standards, you drop your new truck off at the outfitters for a grille guard and when you pick it up they have drilled holes through the fenders to attach it? guys would flip out, me included. I bet they didn't have those plastic bag eat covers or the paper floor mat covers back then either. haha. boy, we have come a long way.

That is funny.
I was originally thinking power wagon too but it's too different.

Re: Recognize this grille guard?

No pics, it was mounted on a clip I bought. 3800 front end for the sheet metal. It doesn't look like it was made for an AD but it was close enough for someone.

Re: Recognize this grille guard?

pretty cool looking, my truck came with a hideous home made push bumper. truck came from a farm so they probably used it for pushing cattle around. at first i was going to ditch it but im thinking i might just leave it on the truck due to how ugly it is.

put it up for sale im sure someone would want it

kinda looks like mr. wilson looking over the fence on home improvement
