78 Silverado- seal access cutouts in door

I finally finished rebuilding the vent window and replacing the window glass on the passenger side door.

How do you guys seal the access cutouts in the door? There was a piece of paper stuck on with a tar like substance, but it has disintegrated. I have something to go around the bottom and sides of the door panel.

Re: 78 Silverado- seal access cutouts in door

I had some leftover clear plastic vapour barrier sheeting that I stuck on neatly with some gorilla tape

I used the thin foam that is made for putting under laminate flooring and attached it with Gorilla tape originally, and then that aluminum ducting tape. (some of the Gorilla tape let go) The foam helps with sound deadening.
