Needing help on electric fan

Hi all, just about finished up getting my truck running it has been challenging for me but I came through. I'm needing help on installing the electric fan I was going to buy a fan harness but it don't come with a temp sensor ? Any ideas on where to start. 1959 Chevy Apache with a 5.7 vortec from a 1997

That Jegs kit is about as simple as it gets.

The ground side of the relay coil goes to the temp sensor.

There are a couple different ways to set it up depending on application.

With your AC it can complicate things a little.

I would suggest finding a relay with NO/NC contacts. You can hook AC circuit to the 5 pin relay, putting the temp switch on the NC contacts. That way when the AC sends a signal to the fan, it opens up the Temp controlled circuit, and there is no backfeeding.

I have a brand new Jegs-type kit I'll send you for $10. Only trouble is a 165-175 fan switch.

I have that same radiator.
I think you will have cooling problems unless you go to a shroud and dual 11" puller fans.
