Softopper - To Tint or not to tint?

Hey guys,

I'm about ready to order my black Softopper and am having a tough time deciding if I should go tinted or clear on the windows. My truck is a Triple Black '72 CST. Any of you that have a Softopper, let me know what you think, not just for aesthetics, but visibility etc.

Tinted windows all around definitely would look great on a black truck, but even the clear plastic windows on the Softopper are somewhat difficult to see out of. I think at night you may have difficulty.

The tinted version would look good on your truck, but I bet it would be next to impossible to see out of it at night. I went with the clear version and don't regret it. If it's hot enough for me to need tint, then my side panels are rolled up or the top is off the truck anyway.

I have a tinted one and don't have any problem seeing out of it at night. I have seen many of the clear panels turning a yellow tint in time that won't happen with the tinted ones. Also, the scuffs and scratches that you inevitably get from being rolled up is harder to see on the tinted ones in my opinion.
