Specific order installing under hood accessories.

I’m currently rebuilding my 72 with a 67 cab and front clip. All of the front clip is new aftermarket panels, is there any specific order I should follow on installing all the accessories. I mean things like rad, battery tray, horn, wiring and the like?

I didn’t notice anything standing out that needed to be installed first during the disassembly nearly 2 years ago. Help me remember if you have done it more recently than me.

Note: I do have the 67 hood latch, rad support, grill support and grill. Maybe more, as I said I have been away from the project for a while. Is there anything else that will need to be specific to this year.

Re: Specific order installing under hood accessories.

There's no specific order that I can remember off the top of my head. It's pretty intuitive from what I recall. You'll need the 67-68 hood if you don't have one already. Nothing else coming to mind

Can't speak for 67, but on a 71-72 the battery box is installed with the inner fender. Best do that before radiator too. Grille before hood.

Looks like you've already got it in based on the pics, but the heater box is way easier if you install it before the passenger's side inner fender.

Re: Specific order installing under hood accessories.

The only problem I had was the electrics. I had the change some the connectors, like the head lights. Most everything should go back just like the '72
