08 silverado + ZEX
so if the zex manual says retard the timing on the truck four degrees. the hand held tuner for this truck cant do that. what should i do? should i just change the plugs to a range cooler and tune it to premium fuel and keep premium in it and run it or what? it is a 75 shot we picked up for $100 plus $20 for delivery on craigslist

The exhaust comes all the way to the bumber and sounds great!  "them- "straight pipes isnt an exhaust man..." me- "meh... who needs a fancy muffler when you've got straight pipes?  its got a cat, doesnt resonate, and I like how it sounds, and to be perfectly honest, it makes me behave myself when I'm out and about!"^^^ favorite conversation about my truck to date

i believe msd makes a digital timing retard control module to do exactly what you need for running the nitrous.

the very same. but it just got some extra beef. but idk if the 3-4 was beefed up. but the builder said he put stronger bands in it. would these pessibly be it? we were intending to spray at wot through first, let out of the gas, (its a wot kit) and spray through second, then disengage the nitrous since at the end of 2nd were at 95 already and we should already be ahead of the competition if we are going to beat them at all

You can get the MSD 6012 box. It is for putting a carb on them but will also work with factory efi. Has a built in two step rev limiter and nitrous retard. You can also program your timing curve. But it is like 325 plus like 80 for the extra harness for the efi.
