2008 silverado trailer brake

I have a 2008 silverado 2500HD without trailering option,and wonder if anybody know if its possible to mount a stock GM controller switch,since the truck have the factory cut wiring for brake contoller.

it is but very hard and expensive. you have to change a box under the bed the harness that runs along the frame rail add the controller and bcm programming. if you get it out a junker it would be 500 to 1k. for that money a 60 dollar under dash unit is fine. your truck will be wired for a aftermarket unit under dash.
