Ok guys what dose this number mean . i know it is c 1404 is that a line number for the truck build in 1965 for what trim ops?? motor ect ??
any one know for sure i dont want to paint over it . its on the rear of the frame

the pic is a couple of years back but i havent painted over it the rest of the frames been done in por 15 it was a plane jane no crome no radio tinted front glass. 230 inline 6 lone gone...

If you like it keep a picture, paint it like the rest of the frame, and then draw it back on there.

PS - I love your custom parking brake.

It means that it's a short bed 1/2 ton truck.Also look at the first 6 digits of your vin, should be C51404 if it's a Chevy.

just didnt know if it was
a code number or part of the vin . but that will help Thanks

and that pic showed how small my shop was when i first move in there
20x20 and bare meltal now its 36w and 40 deep and fullly inslated and more room for more toys
the last pic is one of the new toys and can see the truck in bare metal in ther right side of the pic...
