Re: Nashville Question
Nashville is a great town. Lived there for a while and we've talked about moving back in a few years. No state income tax but sales tax is around 10% Housing market is real hot right now so cost-of-living might be up there but still should be better than bigger cities.

Re: Nashville Question
Thanks for reply slowcpe, our sales tax up here is 13% and about 20-40% income tax, depending on bracket, that sounds good down there!,i am hoping he will go for a trip down there to check it out first..

Re: Nashville Question
I think he will like it. The people there are great.
It's a city but there are plenty of places outside Nashville to live.

Re: Nashville Question
He could do well on price of a place in the outlying areas or nearby towns/cities. But I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed this thread isn't more musical.

Re: Nashville Question
I lived in Old Hickory for a while.
It's a beautiful place to be,especially in the fall when all the hickory trees turn gold. It does snow a little, but it's not a problem. Lots of classic cars and trucks there too! Mike. |
