Painting just the hood and cab roof?
I'm looking at a black 1997 Silverado RCSB (stepside) that is immaculate with the exception of roof and hood where the clear is gone and the paint has gone to hell.
Is there a way to paint just the hood and roof or does the entire truck need to be repainted? What on average would this cost? Like I said, everything else looks perfect. |

Re: Painting just the hood and cab roof?
To me painting just the cab and roof would be ok; black is pretty forgiving, especially when you know the actual paint code (probably WA8555) and it's base coat/clear coat.
My poor race car has never been painted all at once and it still presents itself nicely. K
