I need a measurement.

I am working on my bed but I have got to a point where I need a little help. I removed the floor and the angle pieces that attached to the inside of the bed sides. I am getting ready to weld in new angle but I need a measurement. How high the the bottom of the bed from the bottom of the bed sides. any help would be great

Re: I need a measurement.

I suggest bolting your rear cross sill into position inside the rear stake pockets. Install the front bed panel. Square up the bed and tighten all bolts. Now place a scrap piece of 3/4" thick lumber on the ledge of the rear cross sill where the wood sits and on the front bed panel lower flange. The angle will rest on top of the wood in that position.
