Has anyone made...

Has anyone made megaphones for their exhaust

If I could just get the formula or measurements then I could figure it out from there (I'd like to go from 3" to 6" in 2 feet)

Thanks in advance, Matt

Re: Has anyone made...

Not a fan of the magaphone thing but if it's yours thats OK. did a little figuring for you and seem all you would need to do is 3"Xpi 3.14 IIRC and 6"xpi 3.14 and draw out on poster board like this and wrap and weld. the poster board will help you get the ends to come out squared off instead of angled then the local parts store or exaust shop for the short piece needed for the clamping area. hope this helps. NO MESUREMENTS WERE DONE IN DRAWING. Just to show what I mean. drawin came out smalle than it shoul have wording is ends will be curved in final and roll and weld seam. if you find a fomula post it for us. RJ22

Re: Has anyone made...

it's alot easier to buy them from speedway motors and trim to length and for the pipe diameter
