Replaced the plugs with the correct heat range R45TS, gapped to .045", bumped timing to 18* base and jetted the primaries up one step. Also adjusted the acclerator pump up a notch to get rid of the bog off idle.

I beat Shannon to it. Sorry neighbor.

We had our North Georgia Group "Chewin' the Fat" get together today. It's the longest journey for the truck so far, about 22 miles one way. The temp gauge likes to hang on the high side, but once i got home and put a lazer temp gauge on the radiator hoses one read 195 and the other was 160.

I did stop once and just punched the gas and she broke loose really easy.

Wishing I did an overdrive tranny.

Thanks to those that showed up today. Meet some new faces as well as old and talked trucks.

Alan I've come to a conclusion, after searching your thread for the last hour looking for a how to pic..........You need to put together a index for your build, I know you have plenty of time on your hands since your truck is finished.

Thanks, it's been a slow go lately. I've had my eye on the steering wheel for a while. Waiting on the funds.

It's on my to-do list, when I get around to it.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Went to another show yesterday. There were 153 registered. The last show I got top 35 and this show I got top 25. I guess one could say that I'm moving up. Also posted some other trucks at the show.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

This has been one of my inspirations for my truck. During the build I would check daily to see what new pics and info was available. If my truck is even quarter as nice I will be happy. I'm not surprised to see you get awards, the amount of time and care you put in makes me want to do my truck even more.
Congratulations Allan on the beautiful job for such a beautiful truck, just wish I could see it in person one day.

I appreciate the kind words. This was my first full frame off. It can be daunting at times, but really glad that I hung in there. You can do it as well. Remember, no short cuts. They will haunt you.

BTW, my steering wheel should be in tomorrow.
