Radiator shutters on a HV70 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Any one familiar with them? Just pulled my radiator and am having it reworked . If they are unusual or interesting I can post up some pictures.

not sure if this is normal for these old trucks or if it was a particular cold weather adaptation as this truck was purchased for the trans Alaska pipeline project .
