71 C10 4x2

Hey all, I'm a brand new C10 71' owner. My truck is pretty stock and has coil springs all around. I would like to level out the front and raise the truck in total about 2". I am looking at coil spacers since that seems to be the only thing available to do on a 4x2 to achieve the look I want. Would it make sense to install these? (3 inches in the front and 1.5 in the back is actually all I can find online). Would I need to replace the shocks as well and anything else? Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the zoo!
What do the rear spacers look like? The front and rear springs are installed differently.

Welcome aboard, Great looking truck! I have the sister to your truck, going to be almost same color comb. I went the other way as far as leveling the truck. 2.5" drop spindles and 2.5 drop shackles in the back. Leaf springs on mine. Try different word combinations in the search bar.

Thanks Guys!

The Spacers would be for the front: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-C10-F...8AAOSw4i5Zraje

And back something like this trying to find in black: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Rear-Coil...oAAOSwF09ZdiUp

I would bet that the shocks will need to be changed especially in the front. 3 inches is a big change. At least figure out what shocks you have and have a shock manufacturer tell you what would work best.

Check out your flexible brake lines too. Two in the front, one in the back center (I think). They may need to be longer as well.

I'm no expert on lifting trucks, but sometimes the drive shaft angles can become undesirable as well as the pinion angle. Hopefully someone will chime in with some experience in the matter.

Those should work.
The back ones sure aren’t cheap.
I’d drill a hole in a new hockey puck and use a big flat washer for that price. LOL!!

Pinion angle shouldn’t be a problem with that slight rise.

JC Whitney used to have a lift spring in the catalog for 2x4 trucks. May want to check. I know somebody does make them. Be a giant PITA to install I'm thinking...
