68 stepside squeeks like crazy

Hello all, new to the forum and classic trucks in general.. I just bought a 68 stepside. I think the first thing I need to attack is the suspension.. hitting bumps and stuff definetly makes the truck squeek and rattle.. I would like to lower the truck some but I think it's already lowered a little so I guess right now I just want to tighten the steering and take care of the noise... where do I start?? I've looked at LMC steering and spring kit for around $400. I assume they have a similiar kit for the rear??

If it was me i would get under it and lube anything with a grease nipple on it.The steering could be wore out parts or wore out steering box,But the easy way to tell is lay under it and have someone rock the steering left and right and watch the ball joints on the tie rod ends and ilder arm see if any are loose.
