292 carb for offroad

how does the 292 do nose up to the sky? how about coming down a hill bangin around?
im looking at doing a 292 swap and wondering how this carb does in offroad situations. pretty much a full time wheeler.

if its poor, what about a good 4.3 tbi setup? is this usable? just thinking out loud with that one. ill have to do some reading.

thanks for the help.

A standard style carb has its limits they do make some offroad ones but i believe most are bigger 4 barrels. What size carb do you need for it tho?

How about a fuel regulator? No experience here with how the float like the nose up or down, but a fuel reg. sure helps bouncing float issues. How about a throttle body mounted on a 4bbl manifold?
