Interior suggestions?

New to this, brought a real nice 66 c-10, but the interior was poorly put together. seat was upholstery but has broken spring. My question is do most just replace with a seat out of newer truck (what works) or do you have the original fixed. any help would be appreciated.

Re: Interior suggestions?

Post a pic of the broken spring, someone may be able to help as there are places who sell parts and people have fixed them.

Re: Interior suggestions?

Here is a thread on different seats. I personally like what was originally in them over something newer. I think the OEM bench seats fit the truck better than split seats or bucket seats. Newer seats just look out of place to me. Sorry if I offended anyone, just my personal preference. So if you can repair your seat, I would.

I just love the look of this type of seat...(not mine and not reprinted with permission.

Hello

Does anyone sell OEM style seat covers? I have been looking I can’t find a vendor that does.

Thanks

Re: Interior suggestions?

These people make replica fabrics.

https://smsautofabrics.com/?gclid=Cj...xoCOCsQAvD_BwE

You can ask them to send samples for a 66 C10 Chevy "custom".

You would then have to have someone upholster your seat.

Sorry its taken me this long for pictures, just learn how to do them, I purchased a very nice full power seat out of a 2001 chevy truck, but I feel guilty about putting it in, so I'm back trying to fix old seat, any suggestions?

Re: Interior suggestions?

I used to feel guilty about a late model swap too, but then i spent a bit of time sitting on one. As soon as i find the right one at the right price, I'm just gonna do it.
