2000 silverado z-71 front axle options

i have a 2000 siverado and i was wondering if there is an aftermarket 1 piece axle shaft available for the right side 8.25. i have managed to shatter the slip collar. a couple hours at the junkyard i can harvest the parts but if it failed once it will fail again

im not worried about gas millage or the vibration associated with the modification.

i can find parts all day long for the 9.25

I'm not sure about aftermarket, but you can use a shaft/half housing from an AWD truck(Denali or escalade). It will be one piece and it won't have an actuator.
