Most clever forum names

Being fairly new to the forum I’ve ran across some pretty clever/funny user names. I wish I would’ve kept a log but I didn’t. So…I thought this might make a fun thread. If you know of some, even if it’s your own, post ‘em up for everyone’s enjoyment. And if it’s so clever that it needs an explanation, feel free.
I’ll start with “Run GMC”. Hysterical!

Re: Most clever forum names

It's getting hard to find a decent name anymore!
One fella I know on another forum uses the first 6 letters on the keyboard."QWERTY". I think it's a pretty good one!

When John Wayne , Clint Eastwood ,Ron White , George Carlin and Walter are your hero's and the best time of your life was the 70's . When you think there should be a law to smack anyone in the back of the head for acting stupid , Twice if their really stupid , The only thing that fit was Grumpy old man

I'm flattered, but there sure are many better ones here. I'll have to think about it and come back with some. I'm flattered, but disagree. I think it's dumber than a box o' cereal Here's the story:

I originally came up with Super-K because when I'd be driving my '72 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper K/20, way back before internet, I'd think if I ever lettered a name on my truck that's what it would be. I pictured it done same as Special-K cereal. I was a lurker, I think, since '01. I got cable internet, a new e-mail, and by then I had another K/20 (Highlander Custom Camper) and a K2500 (Sierra Custom Camper)... three 'special' 3/4t 4wds. Couldn't figure out how to log on with my new e-mail, so I came up with Special-K so I could log-on. It's alright I guess, but it truly came out of a I.D.G.A.S attitude. I thought about changing it, but I basically don't believe in that. Names are for others to identify you with. Change it and who the heck is that?

Re: Most clever forum names

Yeah, mine is lame as well. My first name is Steven, and my last name starts with a "D", so SteeveeDee. Though my last name is two words. You wouldn't believe how hard it was for the California DMV to get that straight. 5 years ago I was required to get a new birth certificate for work; the original with my little footie prints from the hospital I was born in was now not good enough, for some reason, likely National Security (said in a deep authoritarian voice). I got a new one, and got a copy to take to the DMV while I was at it. I went up to the DMV counter, and presented my renewal paperwork, and explained that my last name was two words and that I'd like to have that fixed (after 45 years- I didn't say that!). The gal looked down her nose, sniffed, and said, "We'll need a birth certificate", whereupon I whipped it out of the envelope and placed it at low velocity on the counter, BAM. My spawn still can't get the California DMV to get it right. ???

Re: Most clever forum names

My handle was born out of frustration.

My CB handle had always been either Hammerhead (I'm a carpenter) or Big Block.

The first time I needed a handle for a forum I found those were long gone. I tried some of the obvious and they were already used.

The reality of the WWW set in and I thought screw it, I need something so jacked up nobody will copy it.

I have seen QWERTY on another forum, but I can't remember which one.

QWERTY is on Tri-Five.com

My wife helped me with my screen name in 2003.Because I have a lot of Chevy cars and trucks and all I want to do is work on them!

Re: Most clever forum names

Certainly not the most clever for sure BUT: When I first joined this website I like others tried many other user names but each one I tried was already taken. Sooo..... out of sheer frustration I tried my old CB handle from the early 70's.

When I came home from Viet Nam in April of '70 my one and only F*** product was a '69 Mustang Mach 1, 351, 4 spd. CBs were big back then and I used "Ironhorse Mobil" as my handle when talking "skip". A Mustang is a horse, a car is "mobile" so there it was.... Ironhorse Mobil. All I had to do was drop the mobil and became "Ironhorse" when I joined this website. Back long ago everyone always rode horses and a pickup became a popular mode of transportation so it all fit. Not the most clever but it worked out.

So many of us said the name was born out of frustration. Is it possible your parents shared that frustration with us?

I think BCNYA is a good one. Would work on a tag. davischevy leaves me wondering who it might be and what he might be into. My buddy was on here with GN4U2C because he is monster big on the Buick turbo G-bodies. He has had more than I can remember and can build one to run like a scalded pig. Probably helps that his cousin owns gbodyparts.com

Mine has nothing to do with corroded hemorrhoids. It simply describes all my projects.. I started using the screen name way back in the early days of the H.A.M.B. website...

Every car, truck, or bike I have owned has been stock, or very close to stock. Lame, I know, but it reflects my near-total lack of imagination.
