Bigger mirrors?

Hey guys! I have the little round mirrors on the burb now, absolutely not fond of them. Does anyone know where I can get bigger mirrors without running those tripod mirrors?

Thanks, Jeff

Re: Bigger mirrors?

I think just about any of the vendors carry those.
LMC for sure, but check with the board vendors for a better deal.

I have the stainless square mirrors on my burb, and they suit me just fine for what I use my burb for.

Re: Bigger mirrors?

There are the round mirrors off a bigger trucks in the 1990's (Topkick) they are covex to give a wider view but are the same size as the OEM mirror on the 67-72. I used those on my passenger side when one of the round mirrors swivel came loose. I have since switch to the rectanglular mirrors and love them.

Hey Vectorit, I love the size of your mirrors. Where did you get them?

Re: Bigger mirrors?

I bought those mirrors many years ago, and I got them from Golden State Truck Parts when they were still in SoCal. Now they are in Carson City NV.

They are the larger rectangle mirrors that came stock on our trucks back then, and I am pretty sure you could find them from most of the vendors.

Re: Bigger mirrors?

Cool! Thanks for the website. What are the measurements of them so I know I'm buying the same ones?

Re: Bigger mirrors?

i actually think i like the big rig-west coast mirrors Vectorit use to have on his burb better than what he is running now. but function take a back to seat to aesthetics these days.

i like the tripod mirrors the best on a 71-72 and so i'm going that route with my 72 burb. but the 5x7 square mirrors on the single stalk in 67-69 look pretty slick and should provide reasonable visibility. they shared the same mounting pattern as a round pair of the same vintage.

Re: Bigger mirrors?

I don't think so. But the 5.5" X 7.5" will if you have original mirrors on it. I have the 5.5" X 7.5" rectangler on mine and they work good me.
