White or Black Steel Rims? Need Opinions

I am stuck on what color to do my steelies. My plan is to use factory style dog dish hubcaps also. The Burb is currently goldish and white top, but plan on going to original mint green or my favorite, a medium turquoise metallic. I had the rims powdercoated black, but not sure I like them. I have always liked the white with center caps. Tell me what you think! Thanks in advance

I personally like black steelies, chrome lug nuts, trim rings, and no hubcaps.

I love the look of black OR white steelies... but I went white - because I felt it would look better with my color combo. Posting pics to give you an idea. Either way I think they will look great on your burb!

For your vintage burb, I would go white.

Mine, I went black since in 1968 the original lock ring wheels were black from the factory.

I think the whites look awesome contrasted with a white roof, just like how Dougo's rig looks it just works and it pops just right.

I think semi-gloss.... easier to wash/clean. And... you will get a little dust (brake dust) just within a few miles of driving, that will give you that satin look.

So... oddly enough = best of both worlds. But, I went with a gloss... and they're really easy to clean.

The white is going to look good... especially if you keep the white roof (when you go to repaint).
