Rear End Ratio Question

I'm looking at a 68 GMC Burb 4x2 with a 327 and a Turbo 400 trans. My questions are, wouldn't a 327 come with a Turbo 350 trans and does anyone have an idea what rear end ratio this Burb original Burb would have?

Re: Rear End Ratio Question

The GM Heritage Center archive did not have information on a "68 Suburban, but they did have an information kit on a '69 - which indicates a 3.07 axle base; 3.73 or 4.11 optional.

http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...t-Suburban.pdf

(page 18, and page 33)

It did not specify between a TH350 or TH400, only that it was a TurboHydramatic trans.

Re: Rear End Ratio Question

If there is no ratio listed in the SPID it is normally a 3:07.
T350's first arrived 1969
