Front Suspension Question

I recently bought this 53 International R100. Does anyone know what kind of front end this is? They butchered it pretty bad.

Re: Front Suspension Question

can't say for sure but looks like dodge to me. aspen and volare front ends were popular swappers. probably had torsion bar suspension to start with if thats the case. bags added at swap time maybe. anyway, something for you to check on wheel bolt pattern, brake rotors/pads/calipers, ball joints etc could be helpful to assist in naming the donor.
try this for a quick and dirty look at the dodge front end style

Re: Front Suspension Question

your frame looks to be a bit shy of cross members. especially at the front for the struts. will you use that set up?

Re: Front Suspension Question

Cross member is there. Small square tubing type. Never have seen them before. No struts being used. Bagged and shocks will be used. That is why i am asking what type of set-up it is. I just have never seen it. It was also someone else's start. I am taking it apart and going to finish it. It is just now getting started. I do know it needs a cross member. That will come later.
