$5,500 finders fee on a $1,400 item? Who can't see something wrong with that?

You should call my friend that bought the short bed 4x4, and tell him he owes you a finders fee.

Re: Price ?!? Omg

I'd like to know how he plans on collecting that finders fee once I bought the truck ? I've paid finders fees before but never over $100 tops ! I guess you have to meet to sign a "finders fee contract" before he takes you to look at the pile of rust ? Something tells me ol Tim isn't the sharpest pencil in the box ?

I wonder if we blew up his email with requests to buy his "said to be very rare truck " if ol Tim would wonder why he's standing around while no one shows up ? It's "said to be rare and said to be a 38 ? He doesn't even know what it is but It will cost your $5500 to him for finding it?

Wait , wasn't that new "car tv show" called car finders ? Maybe ol Tim needs to be reimbursed for the hundreds of hours he spent searching other peoples property with his drone ? and this old rusty "rare" truck was the only thing he found . Just like the drone show I think Tim's going down in flames on this one .

Older wise man to younger profiteer: "No no no, sonny. That ain't the way the world works. You got good ambition but to make money you have to spend money. What you do is take your $1,400 on down there and buy that truck right up. That's a great price. Then you add your $5,500 on and put that thing right back up for sale at $6,900. If no one seems to want it at that price you'll have to lower your profit, but you'll still make money. You owe me $2,500 consulting fee"
