Question Where in the world can I get center cap decals for my rally wheels?

I see a few of you on here with the 6 lug rally wheels and looking at your center caps you have decals that are entirely black with a red bowtie. I cannot seem to find such a thing around my area. I did go to the chev parts counter locally and those clows want over $20 a piece for the stickers that you'd find on the 454 SS pickups (which would fit great in my center caps). I don't want those fugly 4x4 ones for my truck isn't a 4wd truck and the gold bowtie just doesn't sit right on a black truck. Anyone have any for sale or if you have someone locally that made yours, would you be willing to get me a set and send them my way? I'm not paying $80 for 4 stickers. ::end rant:: Thanks!

There was a guy selling them on ebay a couple of years ago. I bought a set of 4 nice ones for 20 bucks with "GMC" in the center that fit my 6 lug rally caps perfectly.
I haven't seen him on there recently, but you might do a search and see if anything comes up.

I, also am looking for the decals or inserts.. I bought a set of rally wheels that came from a Chev truck. They are black with a silver ring near the outside and with the bow-tie emblem... nor sure how to get these off without wrecking them.... Also, I checked with a GMC dealer and I am not gonna pay that kinda price for a relativley simple label.... If I can find a set of GMC labels, then I can make someone a deal for the Chev lables ( if I can get them off !)

Is this what you're looking for? They are for wheels that have a 2 1/2" diameter space for decals---measure your wheels before answering because there are different diameters out there, OK? If you want them they're $25 for 4 shipped.

Smitty, how thick are the decals? are they a 1/16" inch thick or have a hard plastic coating on them? I've seen the repro's at vinyl decal shops but they're paper thin (like a regular sticker). I'm hoping the ones you have are thicker. But yes, that's the design I want. I just went out to measure the decal I need and it has to be 3 1/2". Are you sure the ones you have aren't 3 1/2" instead of 2 1/2"?? Looks like I'm SOL. I would like EXACTLY what you have, but to have it 3 1/2" instead. Thanks!

VENDORS ARE YOU LISTENING???

Why isn't a decal available in a 3 1/2" size for us using 6 lugger rally's? The only thing I'm finding are the fugly 4x4 decals. It's a mammoth of a centercap I know, but it's a shame that no vendor offers anything for a decal replacement other than that 4x4 decal. They sell the plain caps but only give 1 choice of decal?? Doesn't make sense. They should have all sorts of styles and color combinations. I want something like shown above but in a 3 1/2" size since I'm stuck with a 6 lug rally.

I used to buy decals right from the dealer with the Bowtie emblems and put them on over the 4x4 emblems, It has been someime but I am sure they still have a selection to choose from that will fit.

Craigg you rock!!! I was up until 3 in the morning last night looking on Ebay all over for those things and I couldn't find them. I'm going to order out 2 sets! Thank you so much. Hopefully they're high quality like the originals. I think I'll call and find out. Once again, thanks! I love this board!

My bro kept the six lug on his 69, just installed 99-up centers using the screw on plastic nuts. Look trick, not nearly as bulky or long as the OE 4x4 centers. Tire store ordered 7/16 nuts that are threaded outside for the plastic nuts,$1 each. Sorry no pics, virus took out my motherboard. Brian

Hey Joe, yeah geez this site really does kick. Seems every time I get on this site, somebody is askin something I have run into myself at one time or another. I bought a set of ralley wheels for my six bolt 67 and yup they came off of a 4x4 blazer and had the crap decals on them as well...didn't take me long to peal them. Also went to local GM dealer to pick some up...I told them what they could do with their $80 dollar decals. Am currently negotiating with a buddy to get stainless covers made up with bowtie engraved...will stick them on with 3M adhesive tape - same stuff ya get when you buy aftermarket harley emblems (just did put on my shovel). I figure they will look pretty trick. I will post some pics soon and what they cost to get done.

Craigg1,

That's the same guy I bought mine from. They're very good quality. He also
makes custom tailgate letters. He's a good guy to deal with.
