North Texas board members???

I was reading through a few posts, and I guess I never realized how many north Texas members there are here.

Would you guys be interested in a little get together? It would be nice to meet some of you guys. Maybe get to drool over your trucks. Maybe something around central or south Dallas?

If you guys are interested, maybe we can put something together in the "Board get together" forum.

Well I work and live in Addison... so I'm sorta central to anything... Now the only question is which truck to bring, my '72 or my '05?

Yeah, our little club has informal meets all the time. It is nice to get out an dmeet new truck enthusiast. If you get a location, let us know. I bet we would have a couple of guys and gals show up for some BS session.

Wow! I didn't even know that there was a local board here

I am going to start my motor install this weekend, then I will start looking for a spot to do this.
I am going to try and get out to the KOTH race this weekend. Maybe I'll see some of you guys out there.

The Southern Bowties group are some nice guys. I've met up w/them a couple of times @ Kellers (NWHwy/Abrams Rd.). I'm not in their club but they were very open to any enthusiast.

The KOTH races are cool as well. Don't forget Thurs nights in Rowlett @ the BBQ on the corner of 66/Dalrock.

I can usally make it to where 45 and 30 come together in about 3.75-4.25 hours. Depending on traffic.

Scoti, yeah he is a real nice guy and some really sharp trucks. Seen him out at Kellers and also Redline for the King of the hill races.

And Jemost, he is from the west sied of Dallas (actually Ft worth). Also a really great guy, and his truck is beautifull. And now has a new heartbeat.

Basically DFW has alot of good truck lovers around. I am always glad to meet up with them.

i say we see about actually organizing something, not like at a car show or swap meet but just on our own, at some park or something and make it a BYOB and bring hamburgers and fixins and stuff like that, every time that i have tried to meet up with some of the guys it has been a flop like at goodguys lonestar nats last year. if you guys are interested, i have an idea of a pretty good place in fortworth. and i say do it while it is still summer to. so how about it guys

IF I saw there was enough interest... I'd jump on the bandwagon... I'm a follower not a leader... a place and time is all i need...

Set it up. I just need a couple of weeks to get my motor in(doing it by myself). Should be finished by August.

Can I come too? This sounds great. Maybe an excuse to get off my lazy a$$ and go out in the heat to work on my truck.

Tx-I hope you decide to come to this gig. I would love to see your orange truck!
I just talked to my machine shop. It seems they are running a little behind, and my stuff is not ready yet. They are going to try and have it by tomorrow, but it might be Monday or Tuesday
I was really hoping to have it today since I have Friday Sat and Sun off. Could've had my motor running by Sunday.
