a few a/c questions ?

Fan speed only one speed. It is about medium speed. The compressor cuts off when you go in the high position. Is this a switch problem ? Also, The middle lever on the dash has a piece missing that presses down the switch to cut on the compressor( ive got the switch bypassed to get it to run). Last question: hoses on water pump to heater core: which hose is supply to core ? the one on the water pump or the one on the intake manifold ?

There is a good possibility that the switch is bad, but it could be the relay or you could have a problem with the resistors.

The bottom 5/8" hose on the heater core is the supply and it should be connected to the intake manifold nipple. The top 3/4" hose is the return and it will go to the water pump or the radiator.
