fuel gauge problem

I started this post so I didn't hijack 67-72lover's post. I read TBONE'S post on how to test a fuel gauge. His gauge shows a blue resistor on the back of his gauge and mine has a orange one. Is this a different ohm rating? Another question is where do I get the 90 ohms rating? The #2 picture on the post shows a number of 98.2, is this the rating?
