Re: Project Anti-bling: Let's see all the stock trucks!!

as stock as it gets..... however this was before the 15 x 8 Vette rallyes and a mild drop. but plan on leaving the engine bay and interior absolute bone stock. original paint going through a total clean job as this is written.

Here's mine. Only chrome when I got it was the door handles and wiper arms. If it wasn't white, it was black.

Re: Project Anti-bling: Let's see all the stock trucks!!

I really go for the stock look. I will admit...I am one that will change wheels. I think a truck should sit stock height...look like it did out of the factory. I like my truck to be functional. If I need to haul something I want to be able to do it.

I'm loving last one. I've never seen a SWB with the 3/4 wheels and tires.

Re: Project Anti-bling: Let's see all the stock trucks!!

Special-k, this pic really brings back memories for me. My current 68, was my dad's truck, and it had a cover on it. Except for the fact that your's is a GMC, it could have been mine before I restored it. I have been toying with the idea of finding a camper cover of that style to put on mine, just to really make it look like it did in the day.

My dad bought the truck when I was 5 years old, and I remember standing in the bed, and my head not touching the roof of the camper.

Here's mine, just for comparison.
