Incredible fight
This puts anything I've seen on the UFC to shame. Makes UFC look like pansy fighting.

That was a good fight. Frye took a beating at first, but man he really let Takayama have it, and destroyed his face in the process. I really like Pride FC. It's not the circus that the UFC has become.

I havent watched UFC much at all but the ones i did watch looked like more of a huggin and drama fest. Pride i WAY better.

I had never heard of Pride. UFC is a freaking hug-fest. Ever since the Brazilian Jui-Jitsu family came on the scene, it's all about who can strangle the other guy into submission and there are very rarely beatdown fests anymore.

It seems those that like pride fighting hate the ufc and vise versa.I like em all... k-1 and muay thai, boxing also.I pretty much like any type of combat sports.The ufc does seem like they use more submission skills...but if you've ever had a kimura,knee bar or rear choke put on you,you definitely have more respect for the jujiitsu.It is very effective and can end a fight real fast.I have seen more brutal and bloodier fights in the ufc though.

Crocop is a beast. I wish he'd stay in Pride, but I can understand why he wants to come to the UFC (more popular, more lucrative). Pride needs to catch on a little more over here. K1 is pretty cool, but I like Pride because ground work is allowed.

the only sports i watch are UFC and LSU football, dont really watch any tv. i dont think ufc is perfect, but that pride fight was disgusting. pretty hard to watch. i could see that at any local bar all weekend long. anyone can take a punch in the face but i dont care who you are when you leg is about to be snapped you will cry like a newborn. i guess since i wrestled in school i appreciate the skill and submissions more than the brutal "see who can suck up more head punches" stuff.

don frye also fought in the early days of UFC, before dana white. i like pride and ufc. i saw some K1 on espn2 last weekend. it was fun to watch. pride is going to come, or had already come to america... it's hard to tell since they always run re-runs on FSN. they were (are) bringing emelianenko and vanderlay silva.

Venderlei Silva has fought in the UFC in the past. I watched him get demolished by Vitor Belfort a few years back. I hear that Emelianenko guy is insane. He beat Crocop in 2005, I want to see that fight.
