Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I did absolutely nothing to my truck today. Need new tires for sure but I think I’ll wait until spring for that. If I get to the exhaust leak this week I ain’t telling.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I have a list a mile long of what I didn't do to my trucks yesterday and not today. Sub-zero windchill is my excuse today. My big plan now is shuffle my sons' vehicles around to I can tuck my '72 under the carport I built for it. I sure didn't build it for my son's Ranger I built it around. I'd let it stay there if he started into parting it out. It needs to go, but he has high hopes of doing something with it and I'm not ready to crush his dream... yet. I really don't see anything happening there.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I’ve got a cracked exhaust manifold that I didn’t fix today, although yesterday I replaced the old cork valve cover gaskets that were leaking terribly but I didn’t do it today.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I didn't finish up my C-20 today, because I busted a lug nut. At least I can drive it. Vintage mags, had to order replacements.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I'll get back to you later, but pretty sure I won't get the axle seals done on my '72. I finally have all the parts together and am back from Carlisle with very little unpacking to do today. I should have time, I'm really wanting to drive the truck, no other obligations, so today should be the day. And that is why I'm saying it probably won't happen.
(I hope this reverse double negative physchology works)

Still waiting on engine from the builder. I probably should be doing bunch of little other things too it, but laziness has kept me from up there.

Need to fix the horn button cover ,as some times it pops off and until I get the wire unhooked I have solid sound waves for all to hear.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I need to reglue the rear view mirror, maybe I’ll get it done later this week. I did replace the exhaust manifold Saturday so I’ve been driving the truck to town on errands.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
The 68 has an annoying LOUD squeak somewhere and the radio powers on and off with the bumps. (So alot) . Irritating to drive, but have fried chicken and a nap in my future. So not happening today!

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Did not install any of my new E brake parts. Did not work on the other 6 boards for my step side bed floor. Didn't even take it for a drive.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Well, I didn't get the seals/brakes done. That's because after I got unloaded from Carlisle I realized the grass really needed cut. Even though I have a thing about not cutting grass on the weekend, we are just getting into the mowing season (2nd cut) and I was at Carlisle on my preferred day, Thursday. But... my older son stopped by with a project on his van and I fell in with that. A Sunday with my two sons tinkering with their stuff and not mine is what family is all about. Maybe one day they'll be coming over and tinkering with my stuff if I get to where I can't. Got to go cut the grass now before work.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I am 4 months past when I thought I would start on that bed repair. I have the new metal for it and have the new angle strips laid out for it. Lots of things have gotten in the way of me starting. What's another day...

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
The old girl is still sitting at the curb after a trip to pick up a sheet of Baltic birch plywood I bought to make some storage drawers for my wood lathe. Been sitting there for about 10 days now. Time to go run it up on the freeway for some exercise and scare the spiders.
