Chevrolet Hub caps

Hi. I have these hubcaps that came on a set of rally wheels I had on my truck. Can anyone tell me what they were original equipment on? Also, do they have any value? I can see some dents in the hubcaps. I am thinking about painting the bowties blue to match my truck but I'd rather sell them if somebody would want them the way they currently are. Thanks for any input you might have.
Mike

Re: Chevrolet Hub caps

Those are 64-65 hubcaps. Yes, they have value as they are not reproduced and are highly sought after in good shape. Condition is everything. 1966 hubcaps are very similar and are available as repros (in chrome), so most settle for those.
It's important to note the back of cap for mounting style. Some are open on the back for wheels with "nubs", and some have added rings for wheels with clips. 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton clip wheels have different size rings. Gotta see the back to know which exact style you have.
Not that it matters much, but originally the bowtie was white in the middle of a red/orange circle.
