New Hot Wheels Custom '69 Stepside and others

I picked up a new Hot Wheels Custom '69 Chevy Stepside today. Found it by accident. It's in a 5 pack, called HW Hot Rods. Bare metal (I think they're called zamac.) Maroon/burgandy grill, windows, and base with redline wheels, black interior, black flames on sides of front fenders and doors, Mike's Speed Shop tampo on door.

Also found a couple weeks ago:
Matchbox Purple GMC Wrecker--this is another color variation. This was in a 5 pack with the green/white /75 Stepside.

Matchbox Green/white '75 Chevy Stepside. The Garage Tire Center tampo on doors, chrome base and grill, tan interior. Another color variation

Hot Wheels Copper colored Custom '62 Chevy-- this is another color variation. Single packaged.

Well the hunt is on

It kind of pi$$es me off when they put new models in the multi packs

Matchbox did it too with the cooler looking (IMO) 75 stepside's only available in the multi pack.

Re: New Hot Wheels Custom '69 Stepside and others

^Thanks for the tip. Now,what can we do about the cheezy colored anodizing HW has been using to detract from these models.First the blue`62 (I passed on that one) and now these.I`m disappointed after all the wait.Oh well...
Paint jobs don`t bother me.Ones like that tacky wrestler`69 I just use to strip and paint.i like that copper color.I`ll get one, strip the tampo, and sacrifice wheels from something else. Then there`s that grille? The tampos are aight on these, but I`d like a solid paint version,too.The`69 looks pretty good.I`m just having a hard time with the red on the wheels. It almost looks like red wall tires, except where`s the rim?I`m done criticizing/showing my disappointment. At least they`re still putting them out.

Re: New Hot Wheels Custom '69 Stepside and others

Picked up the Mike's Speed Shop '69 yesterday. Carefully removed the truck from the 5 pack and replaced it with a '69 El Camino with flames, which will be turned into a birthday present for one of my kids little friends. Win- win!
